How to test the market (before betting on it)

You have not gone to market yet, so every rate below is a benchmark hypothesis. Here is the smallest real test that tells you the truth.

Benchmark-seeded. These are the four numbers the whole plan hinges on. Lower any one and everything above it grows.

What counts as a client

Monitoring = 1.0 — the real, recurring client.
Audit, not yet monitoring = 0.5 — halfway there.
Scan only, not yet converted = 0.25 — a foot in the door.
A scan that drops off before monitoring doesn't count toward the goal. The goal is counted in monitoring clients; the weighted figure tracks pipeline in progress.
